Hi all,

Does anyone have any idea on rental of a VW Camper for a week long road trip.

Will be arriving at Glasgow Airport so anywhere in Glasgow area would be great.

Website or telephone numbers would be great.

Thanks

hi,

thanks for the replies..... I had already researched camper van rentals; my post, I guess, should have mentioned that fact.... thanks for the supplied links folks.

Have you done your trip yet? I'm campervan mad and always like to hear of other people's joys and woes of a road trip. If you haven't, please let us know how it went afterwards, will you? I'm off on a road trip to Turkey from Mallaig next week.

not done the road trip yet lennythelion, my choice of campervan is to allow me to show a friend the delights of my home country; I left 23 years ago and am "chomping at the bit" to re-acquaint myself with the beauty of anywhere north of Loch Lomond/Trossachs and hopefully up to John O'Groats.

Thought the campervan would be an ideal way to travel as we can do night stops at our choice without too much pre-planning of B&B's.

We'll hopefully be doing this trip towards the end of Summer.

Have a great trip through to Turkey.

If schedules go to plan, as you start your trip in Scotland, we should be heading back towards Mallaig.
