Hi all,

I'll visit Scotland in august and I have to decide visit the island of Mull or Lewis and Harris. I don't have enough time to visit both. The islands seem particularly attractive so I don't know which to decide.

Thanks very much in advance,
Dani

Personally, I've found the western isles a bit too far to go and not quite enough when I got there.
If you have experience of such places and want more depth then the likes of Harris, Lewis and Mull are all good options.
But if you're just a beginner at Scottish Islands, I want to recommend the Isle of Arran. Access from Glasgow is good and there is a lot to enjoy in a small area. A very good starter - island, with aspects of all regions of Scotland in a compact package.
