HiTravellers
We need to get from Skye to Glasgow International. We have an early flight from Glasgow Int. so we have booked a hotel the night before. What we are wondering is-will we be able to get from Skye to this hotel which is near the airport in one day? and if so, by ferry, train? What does anyone suggest? thank you for any advice. terrie

Either bus & ferry from Armadale to Mallaig then train or bus over the Skye Bridge to Kyle of Lochalsh then train

Book several weeks in advance for the best fare on the trains

It probably depends exactly where in Skye you are. There are two direct buses a day from Portree to Inverness, where there are regular trains to Glasgow.
There are also connecting buses from Portree to Kyle of Lochalsh to meet the train to Inverness. http://www.stagecoachbus.com/highlands-plusbus.aspx
I guess via Armadale and Mallaig would take rather longer.
There is also a direct bus from Portree to Glasgow with Scottish Citylink.
