Two years ago I walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain, 500 wonderful and deeply soulful miles across the north of Spain. I feel the call to explore the west of Ireland with that same spirit of exploration and deep reverence and the openness to transformation. Yeats knew. . . I love some thoughts on where to walk, more than a week, perhaps two to three weeks. If it doesn't sound too "hippie", I'm open to the shamanic walking with the Tuatha. A few practical questions:

From july 2nd to july 17th 2014, we will go to Ireland with our baby (20 months old in july).

We are planning to this itinerary:

Day 1: Departure
Day 2: arrive in Dublin
Days 3-4: visit Dublin
Day 5: Take a day tour to Giant causweay (big day!)
Day 6-7: visit Dublin
Day 8: Rent a car, visit Glendalough, military road and go to Kilkenny.
Day 9: visit Kilkenny
Day 10: Visit Rock of Cashel, Blarney castle and go to Killarney
Day 11: ring of Kerry and visit Valencia island

This will be my 5th time to Ireland but my friend's 1st. We are two females in our seventies. Would prefer not to drive. We will have 9 full days to travel in Ireland. We will arrive Dublin @ 8AM, Oct. 30 and do not want to spend the night in Dublin rather catch a would prefer to catch a bus to the west or south. Hi! I'm currently an undergrad student in the United States (20 y/o, female), and I'm interested in finding a summer job in Ireland. I was wondering if anyone knows how easy it is to find employment there? I'm just looking for a minimum wage job, such as waitress or cashier or the like. So I just finished a reading a novel called The Ginger Man by J.P. Donleavy. I'm curious, where would many of the pubs, restaurants and underground catacoombs be that he writes about in this novel? Also, does 38 Trinity College still exist?

Based on some quick research, it seems one of the characters was based on an Irish writer named Brendan Bahen who I believe was friends with Donleavy (I think).
