Hi - we are staying at a LP recommended hotel. Great location, but it is a bit of a disaster. They are redoing about 1/4th of the bathrooms and starting work before 8am. Also, wifi doesn't work, bathroom shoddy, etc.
Any last (and I mean last minute - like we want to pack up and move before noon) minute suggestions for hotels here in Central Dublin? Will pay up to 200 euros. Want a nice, clean, tidy place, actual internet access. Maybe working heat?
I'd love any advise
Hi!
I am going to cross post this on the Canada branch also. Really want to buy my boyf an X-Box 360 for Christmas. I want to purchase it while I'm in Canada because it's significantly cheaper than here in Ireland.
As I'm not very into computers or game consoles, I'm not really sure about the regions and if one purchased in Canada will actually work when I get back to Ireland. Can anyone advise if it will or if I can get it switched so that it will work at home?
Not really concerned about the duty…
Hey there,

My mom is about to turn 70 and I have promised her a vacation for her birthday. When I asked what she wanted to do she said "swim with dolphins". I refuse to support any of the hideous groups who profit from dolphins in captivity. In researching wild dolphin encounters I stumbled on the story of Fungie and am curious to hear from people about their experiences with Fungie and the wetsuit/boat rental group that takes people out to see him and swim with him. Or I would be just as happy to hear…

We want to go to Sligo from London for a weekend in February. We can't get a flight before about 18:00 (will miss the Ryanair flight to Knock).
We are currently thinking about flying to Belfast on Friday night and then staying over and driving down on Sat Morning.
How long do you think this would take? Can anybody suggest a better route?
Thanks
Andy
