We'll make a daytrip to Belfast and want to visit most of its sights... Unfortunately it seems that they are alloted all over the city, so I'm wondering how to get around in the city. I know www.translink.co.uk but nevertheless I'm a little bit lost...

I plan to start at City hall after arriving central station (or Europe bus centre). After that I want to walk to St Anne’s Cathedral and head for West Belfast seeing the peace lines and the murals of Falls Rd and Shankill Rd. Is this doable…

Hi. I am going to Belfast soon. I would like to know what is worth seeing here. I'll be there for 5 days. I'd like to visit any small city near Belfast. I am going to see Antrim. What else should I visit? I'd like to visit a small Irish pub and drink some beer there:) (In a small Irish town). Thank you for help. By the way, excuse me for my English. I am from Poland if that matters.

Hello all,

I'm a young woman traveling solo through Ireland at the end of April and early May. I'll be WWOOF-ing in Ballina for a week, then I want to head to Donegal and Slieve League before seeing the Giant's Causeway and ending up in Belfast. I'm a little confused about getting to Slieve League without a car and where I should stay. I want to hike One Man's Pass, and maybe stay at the Malinbeg Hostel. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I'm off to visit my Irish friend, and we'll be leaving from Co. Wicklow to Galway for a look around, and a trip to Inis Mor, among other things. Wondering if there are any worthwhile stops along the way out... archaeological sites, geological points of interest, natural sites, good restaurants/pubs, cool villages, churches, etc., ? We both would like to make use of our cameras... so if there's a scenic route, could someone let me in on it? ;) Thanks much!

-Jess

I'm seeking alternatives to go back from Galway to Dublin airport at early morning. So I discovered www.citylink.ie and www.gobus.ie. Do you you have experiences with these bus operators? Are they reliable? And will it be necessary to reserve a seat in advance? Do you know, wether they've got onboard-toilets (Regarding to www.gobus.ie this operator have, but I do not know it about Citylink).

I'm sure the question has been asked many times but which place should I foucs on exploring during my trip to Ireland. I am leaning toward Dingle but some close friends said I should definitely choose the Ring of Kerry....I believe the Ring of Kerry is much more crowded though correct? The trip would be in August.

Please help me Decide!!!

Thanks a bunch!

Regarding http://www.aranislandferries.com/times_mor.php there are ferries to Inishmore from Ros a'Mhil at 1pm. The last return ferry will be at 5pm. Regarding to my information the sailing time will be 45 minutes...

So do you think, that this short time on the island suffice to get an impression and to visit the major sights by rented bycicle? I realize, that it will probably very compendious tour, but unfortunately my time is very limited and I'd like to visit parts of Connemara (I'm thinking…
