hey all, i posted something similar elsewhere accidently, but i applies more to ireland. i was wondering how long it would take for a 1 year work visa to be approved, if i apply for it once i'm in ireland. aussie can do it but it seems kiwis and candians can't, (i'm an aussie). i am worry that i won't be allowed into the country without the visa, as i plan to stay for thr full year, i haven't got a return ticket. i will have all the necessary visa forms, passport, (obivously) c.v., proof of funds, etc... i just don't want to be denied entry.

are u talking about a year long working holiday visa??? if so you will need one already when you enter ireland

yeah, thats wat i mean, but it seems aussies can apply over there (it says so on both the aussie and irish foreign embassy pages) and we can only get one each in a lifetime. i was just wondering if anyone else had done it this way?
