Hey all,
I'm an Aussie gal currently living in Dublin and although I'm having the time of my life I am starting to get just a wee bit homesick with the witner chill setting in. I'm starting to crave Vegemite as my stash has run out but I can't seem to find it anywhere in Dublin. I know in Oz we have speciality Irish food stores where you can buy products from Ireland like Tayto crisps, Lyons tea etc... Does anyone know if there would be an Aussie store similar to that in Dublin?
Cheers,
Alexa x

I'm not an Aussie, but I love vegemite, too. I always get it at health food stores. If you don't find the orignal ask for yeast extract. It's almost the same but smoother and milder. I like it even better.
Sucking OXO cubes? Yuck....

Superquinn stock it at realistic prices otherwise I think health food stores also have it at 'remortgage your house' prices. I saw it in superquinn in Walkinstown.

Many supermarkets stock it, but it may be in a strange section (foods of the world?). I think there is quite a big demand for it in London and the supermarkets are not stupid!
#1 when I was a kid I used to eat Oxo cubes. It's a million times nicer than eating vegemite!

One should always read the original post properly to avoid making a fool of onesself.
