And only 2 recommended Cork City, yourself - you're probably from there, and another person who at the sametime recommended Dundrum Shopping Center!! Cork county is very scenic (love Kinsale) ..... but Cork City??? .... come on!
And a country as beautiful and historic as Ireland ..... are you really surprised that people would choose the numerous places mentioned over a city?

DubinNYC - have you yet realised that Irish are stupid...if you are anything to go by with your comment in #18?? I don't know about your education and Irish nationalistic upbringing - but you must accept that Ireland is part of the British Isles...No comments then?? I've given my opinion - what about yours??

EXCUSE me tigersphan why are irish people stupid??? You're Australian, that's some stupid rumour the Brits spread to your land with the convicts, because it's the only country i've ever been in where they go on about the irish being stupid!! How can stupid people make up the most prosperous country in Europe...of course Ireland is part of the British Isles...but most certainly NOT part of the UK!!!!!

Paddypackpacker - have you just jumped on the stupid bandwagon?? Have a read of #18, read what I wrote in #19 and #23, and you will realise I was only pointing out to stupid Irishman DubinNYC that he was WRONG and tried to be a smartarse and put me in my place. He was the idiot - but since you are following his lead - I guess that the Irish stereotype is coming to realisation. I said that Ireland is part of the British Isles, Idiot Irishman no.1 said it wasn't. So I said that it wasn't part of the UK, idiot Irishman no.2 argues that I am wrong, but agrees with me. Read before you reply....

The term "British Isles," while arguably correct as a strictly geographic designation for the area that encompasses the islands of Great Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands, etc., is generally not in use in the Republic of Ireland due to the country's political history with Britain. In fact, most Irish people find the term, when intended to include their country, highly offensive, and its use is discouraged in social, diplomatic, and political arenas. If you are such an accomplished traveler, as you claim, perhaps you should learn to be a little more sensitive to the cultural and historical implication of phrases you so cavalierly bandy about. This may not be a sensitive subject to you, as Australia still bears the union jack proudly on its flag, demonstrating its continuing need to remain under the queen's skirt.
