Castle to stay in? We are simple folk and don't need anything that will break the bank, but we would like the experience.. suggestions.

Regarding a stay in a castle. I have heard from a friend that Dromoland castle is a great place to stay. I have not been there and unfortunately will not be making a stop here in November. It is close to Shannon airport if you are flying in or out there.
