My wife and I just did a week in Connemara, the Burren and the Arin Islands. One of our best meals was on the Aran Island of Inis Oir (Inisheer). We stopped for lunch near the castle at the Radhare an Chaislean B&B, which could hardly be more nondescript with the dining area being the picnic tables out in front. My wife had the crab claws and I had the mackerel. Both came with a very colorful, delicious salad. The fish was very good but the claws were outstanding. They were served chilled and without any seasoning but they were the best meal we had. I'm sure this was partly because it was so unexpected.

On a side note, we also really enjoyed the serenity and beauty of the cemetery.
