Wow, a lot a questions and no answers. I came online to get some advice on a cheap hotel in Dublin as I am from the midlands in Ireland and I need a hotel until I find more permanent accommodation.
A few simple things on Ireland:
Meaghan:
The last three summers (June-August) the weather has been quite mixed. The weather seems to be dry and bright in April, September. I would recommend going then. March can be lovely, but you need luck to be on your side. I'd plan on arriving on the 16th giving you a better chance of good weather !!!

Dingle / Cork. If you like cities go to Cork, if you like the countryside rent a car, travel to Dingle via West Cork. Place like Clonakility, Rosscarby, Kinsale are little gems and are not to be missed
For car rentals europcar give the best deals.
For hotel / B&Bs really look around for deals.
boards.ie is a very useful forum, that a lot of locals use to find out ideas on anything you need to know in Ireland
entertainment.ie
visitdublin.ie
Give excellent details of upcoming events/ fetivals often gearred at locals
Make sure to go to the west of Ireland, the locals are probably the friendliest, however bring your rain jacket

Best of luck in ireland
