Would it be feasible to commute out to this joint from Central Dublin for a couple of midweek days?

Have to be out there by about 8am but I am Not A Morning Person

Can stay out there for €150 a night but it's a lot cheaper and less boring in town I'd guess

It says on the hotel website (that you linked) that it takes an hour from town. You'd therefore have to leave Dublin at about 6.30am if you stay in the centre and have to be at the hotel for 8am. So if you're not a morning person, you'll need to stay in the hotel!

Dublin buses in my experience are not hugely reliable although quieter at that time of the morning and in the evening you'd be going against the traffic back into the centre but you might wish to check with Dublin Bus what time the first one departs in the morning...

Sorry I didn't notice the details as they weren't visible on my netbook thingy.

I guess they haven't built that Luas extension yet

Yep bus 69, hopefully you found the link. The one good thing I would say is that, to my knowledge it is a EUR2.20 trip for less than an hour which is pretty cool. It does say the first leaves at 6.20am and since it is the start point you should be fine.

Thanks jolly trek and DJ, decided to stay out there for the 2 days, Ryanair schedule makes me take a 4 day trip so will stay in Dub for the Mon and Thurs night and go on the batter

It'll be a massive pain to commute from city west to the city centre. You'd be crazy to even contemplate it. Dublin Bus isn't reliable and it'll take well over an hour to get in and our, particularly in the evenings.
