i am getting in to dublin on wednesday morning....at 5 freaking 30 ...so will just have rested up in time to see the england-russia game. wondering if anyone knows a good pub that will be showing the match...in the city centre area?

Michael,

All pubs will be showing the European Qualifers but as you can imagine they'll be showing the Ireland game. Maybe in Temple Bar some of the pubs might have the England game on one of the tv and the Ireland game on the other. If you walk around the pubs on wed afternoon and ask if they are showing the game I think you'll find somewhere.

No problem with a clash with Ireland game - Ireland plays Cyprus at 7.30 pm at Croke Park, while England plays away to Russia for a 4 pm k.o. England game is covered live on Sky Sports 1.

Euro-Traveller...you have just reminded me of the importance of checking kick off times for important matches. I now find that, due to my own stupidity, I am at work and failed to arrange a few hours off!
