Day trips from Ennis

Tulla? Dear God dont do it!

Yeah Tulla's NOT a nice place! But it's ok if you're doing day trips, keeping away! haha :)

Connemara is do-able on a day trip, but it'll be a very long day in the car!!! Galway city wouldn't be bad, only an hour and half away.

Dingle would again be a huge day driving...too far! I'd suggest Bunratty, the Cliffs of Moher (and the Burren), Galway, Lough Derg...they're all reasonable day trips!

Now that the new motorway is open the trip to Galway is easy. If you take the car ferry from county Clare to county Kerry a day trip Dingle shouldn't be too bad.

Where do you get the ferry to get to Dingle?? Anyone have a website for me?

You get a ferry from Killimer (Clare) to Tarbert (Limerick). Cuts time going through Limerick city and hitting brutal traffic!
