Thanks for the advice. My situation is that I want no surprises with extra costs and fees at the counter. Sounds to me you are willing to risk the 1350 euros damage liability hat you agreed to with the Aer Lingus rental company. I am not.
I can envision a situation where having that exposure would cost you the maximum (1350 euros) as once you agree to that risk they can and most likely WILL charge your credit card 1350 euros. That is where I do not see where the better deal is with Aer Lingus.
I'm sticking with the zero risk with easytourireland.com(hertz), even though I pay more I have that peace of mind. After all my trip is a vacation!
