'Best' is a stupid word to use without outlining the parameters. One man's 'fantastic visit to the Guinness Storehouse' is another man's 'ridiculous marketing exercise involving a million miles of escalators and a crappy pint in a sweaty greenhouse'.
Depending on your interests, two days in Dublin and a day or two in Galway. Or else four days in Dublin with day trips to two of Howth, Dalkey, Wicklow Mountains (tour bus), or Newgrange.
You can list your interests and people might give you a better or idea or feel free to PM me and I'll suggest what might be of interest to you in Dublin.
Really? Best? Do you know anything about Ireland? It's history? Anything? LOADS to see and do but until you can share what your interests are, simply not worth the effort.
As the others say, it depends on your interest.
Waterford for the Crystal. Mitzin Point for dramatic Coastal Scenery. The Kerry ring. The pubs in Dublin. Head up to N Ireland go visit the giants causeway.
What are your interests?
Years ago I was asked this question working in London.
The person concerned waqs clueless and wanted to go "somewhere hot" (something of a joke where I worked).
So as I was pushed I said that I had recently returned from Vietnam.
She responded that it was not what she meant, and I wouldn't take my sister there?!
To which I retorted that I had!
OP you need to get to a library and work out what 'best' means for YOU....
