Merry Xmas everyone....

Hoping somebody can help me out....

I'm going to Belfast this coming saturday for the weekend and I need to know where to go for drinking, partying and having the 'craic'?????

I'm actually from Dublin but have never been to Belfast....haven't actually lived in Ireland for about 6 years now and my mate from Jamaica is flying in from France especially for this trip....please help me out.

Should be staying in the Premier Inn on Alfred St in the city centre....

Cheers
Rob

It might just be the website you're looking for.
In my opinion (and - please, it's just my opinion) Belfast bars are much more fun at the weekend, than the ones in Dublin.
Enjoy!!!!

You'll be pleased to hear your hotel is right in the action........so good start.

Main areas:

Old faithfulls on Great Victoria St:

Robinsons (4 different bars - pub, trendy, disco and traditional music), The Crown (National trust owned antique), The Beaten Docket (oul fellows downstairs watching horse racing and bloke with a record player upstairs) and the Europa (jazz band)

Shaftesbury Square: Benedicts, Laverys, M Club

Botanic: The Fly, Bar 12, The Empire, AM;PM and further up the road The Botanic Inn and The Eg

Cathedral Quarter: Cloth Ear, Spaniard, Potthouse and Duke of York

For traditional music and a bit of crack I would say Robinsons (with the Crown, Docket and Europa all next door)

For chasing women.................more like the Botanic area plus Benedicts

The first 3 areas, Gt Vic Street, Shaft Sq and Botanic ae literally 3 minute walk between each other.

Wherever you go have a ball and ask people for advice or suggestions.

Good luck.
