Hi,
My husband and I are planning on a 5 day trip at the end of June and beginning of July. We haven't been to Ireland before and want to take in as much as we can but we aren't big on monuments/castles. We prefer soaking in the country. The tentative plan that we are working with is:

Day 1 - We land in Dublin from London and go sightseeing.
Day 2 - Ring of Kerry
Day 3 - Bus/Train to Doolin. See the Cliff of Moher
Day 4 - Bus/Train to Belfast.
Day 5 - Game of Thrones tour

Here are my questions:
Does this itinerary work?
Are there any other recommendations?
Best mode of transportation between Dublin-Doolin-Belfast?
Is the Game of Thrones worth it? (we are H.U.G.E fans)

Thanks in advance

No, to be honest. The ring of kerry is too far. It's 4 hours away by bus or train.
You can do a game of thrones day tour from Dublin - www.gameofthronestours.com

A complex set of journeys by public transport with a limited number of services on parts of your route. You will need this site - http://www.journeyplanner.transportforireland.ie/nta/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en

This also gives links to Bus Eireann and Irish Rail.

Expect to be travelling most of each day and on this itinery you should expect to get Killarney on day 1 and there is a limited service to Cliffs of Moher / Doolin from both Limerick and Galway.

R.
