Hi, Two 55 year olds fly into T3 at approx 0600 on 10th Dec'15. We will have bicycles, and need to get into London with them. Actually travelling on to Shrewsbury. However, we are struggling to just exit Heathrow T3! Does anyone know, or can anyone suggest, our best options? Bikes will be fully assembled and loaded with panniers.

My husband and I are coming arriving in Birmingham late October 20-23 (my husband has work there).
Struggling with putting an itinery together for trip following this and would welcome some ideas:
Day 1 of holiday thinking of travelling to Stratford on Avon, maybe staying 2 nights.
Then travelling to either: Bath, Wilsthire, Salisbury for a base to visit: Bath, Avebury, Castle combe, The Costswolds, Warwick castle, Worchester Cathedral.
Not sure which town(s) to base ourselves in…
I know it is a fair distance (I think over 100klms) but what is the easiest and most economical way to get from Heathrow to a hotel in Southampton. We will just spend one night in the hotel before leaving on a ship from the cruise terminal. Is train travel an option? We really don't want to have to pay what seems to be a large sum (100 pounds) for a taxi/private transfer. Are there hotel coach services? Many thanks.
We would like to travel from Leicester to Glastonbury on Monday, September 7 and are having a lot of trouble finding out how to get there. I have tried National Express, and rail info and only get very confusing info or "invalid destination" error messages, etc. There must be some public transportation way to get there. Driving is not an option (unless someone wants to give us a lift!).

I am having a difficult time deciding what is the best option and the most economical option.
I am arriving to Luton Airport around midnight.
I plan on traveling the next day to either Cardiff Wales, or Stratford upon Avon first and then Cardiff.
Based on my research, it shows that I would need to go into London in order to take the train to either locations.
Considering that I arrive at midnight, I prefer not taking the tube to London. The National Express has buses to London for 17 GBP…

As a mexican citizen entering england it is stated that you can be there a maximum of six months without a visa.
However my question is when entering the uk will they give me six months by default in my passport?, or if i tell them i will be there for three weeks they will out 21 days in my passport?.
For example would it be possible to stay longer if my funds last and i chance my outward ticket or by saying three weeks at the border that is what they will give me?

Aiming to do the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on a weekend towards the start of October but due to 1. decreasing daylight hours 2. a couple of lazy mates, and 3. Yorkshire pubs to discover, thinkng of doing 2 peaks on the Sat and the third on the Sunday.
The challenge with this is obviously we won't start and finish at the same point.
