Hi,
Do you tip in England? If you do, to whom--waitresses, cap drivers, your B/B hosts?
Thank you.
Hi I'm flying from London City Airport at the weeknd and shall be arriving by bus at Victoria.
I've read the nearest tube stop is Canning Town, which I can reach from Victoria, after which I have to change to the DLR.
I've read the Airport's website, but it's unclear as to whether or not a single ticket will suffice from Victoria. Will I need a day pass, or is it similar to changing lines on the tube?
By that I mean do I leave the underground station to get onto the DLR?
My reason for asking is…
I am in desperate need of some semi long term accomodation in Leeds(approx 2months), does anyone know of a good website to look into for this infomation? Cheers..
Or any reasonably priced Mexican food.
Hi,
Maybe a strange question but can anyone tell me where I can get my legs waxed near Little Venice in London? I want to get my hair coloured as well. I'm half way through a round the world trip and need some pampering before I head to Africa!
Cheers,
Kellie
Hey there, can anyone tell me what nights Cinemas hold cheap movie nights in London? I know that Cineworld have cheap Tuesdays where movie sessions are £4.50 for adult, just wondering if any other chains or movie theatres do this on a different night? I live in south London (Clapham area) so would prefer somewhere down there or even the West End as I work there ...
Cheers
Hi,
I'm 25 years old and I'm plan on travelling to london in the next two months on a one way ticket. I don't have much cash. I've just completed a post-graduate certificate in journalism in Australia and have done some work here for the ABC in online reporting and radio producing. Does anyone know what the chances are of me getting any sort of media work in London? I don't mind if it's admin or whatever, but it would be good to get work vaguely related to my career. Any advice greatly…
Hi all,
My friend and I will be traveling from London to Paris (round trip) at the end of August and the cheapest price i've been able to find is $148 (leaving from london on eurostar) and $222 (returning to Lonon on eurostar). Does anyone know the cheapest way to travel from London to Paris (roundtrip) on Eurostar?
2nd question: Also we're looking for hotels or B&B's in London...for two females on a budget who want to feel safe.
Is there a ferry from Isle of Man to Belfast and/or vice versa at the end of October and do you have any info on it, website, time table, prices?
Thanks.
Anyone stayed here? I'm thinking about booking it for the night before I go away and I've read mixed reviews about it being in a rough area and someone getting their car broken into but also good reviews. I'll be leaving my car there for the night I stay and then moving it to the airport.
