hi, i will be backpacking for a few months and i wanted to visit some friends in london, however i will be short on money so i wanted to ask about the viability to find work for 1 1/2 months more or less. I was thinking bartending as i have some experience in that but i could do almost anything.. i studied medicine (no european permit to work though (as a dr)) so i could do something as nurse assistant or where you need first aid... i have an eu nationality so i could work if i find a job

can anyone recommend something, or tell me if it is easy to find work before or on short notice for only a month or month and a half.. i have look at hostels for bar work in exchange of living (lots of them have that) but i haven't found that option in london..

i would thank any job suggestions or viability to do this for only a month

I can't imagine any nursing assistant job for only a few months. You can try bartending but DO NOT tell them you are only in town for 6 weeks or less or they won't hire you. It's not worth training you for such a short time. Instead say that you just moved to the UK. Then give them at least 2 weeks notice before you quit - you can say you found something else, you are moving back home or whatever. But if you just say you are looking for work for 1.5 months I can't imagine anyone would hire you when over 20% of people age 16-24 in the UK are unemployed and they would take the same job for a longer term
