Hi everyone,

I am going to London for the weekend on Friday and am trying to research what to do about parking. Has anyone got any advice on car parks just outside London that would be fairly cheap to park for the whole weekend and then tube or train the rest of the way in?

Someone suggested parking at North Ealing station, but from what I can see you can only pay for 24hrs at a time?

I am coming from the north (Herefordshire).

Thank you for any help!!

Try http://www.parkatmyhouse.co.uk. One guy is offering 1 min from Hanger Lane for £6.50 a day. Another is offering 1 right next to Willesden Green also for £6.50.

Be choosy, some people want over £20 a day which is barking mad.

Have you asked at your hotel, when I go to london for a weekend I always book a hotel with parking if going by car. Why not take the train sure by the time you account for petrol and paying to park there cannot be much in it.

Try Westfield (the enormous shopping centre) ih Sheperds Bush - I parked there last month for a fiver per day.

Thanks everyone.

Unfortunately the hotel doesn't have a car park, and looking at Westfield, you can only pay for 24hrs rather than the whole weekend.

Looking at the park at my house website, the £6 ones look good, though they haven't got any reviews so I don't know whether to be worried or not!!

Why worry? No real difference to parking in any public place.... we use meet and greet when going abroad from airports, and have done for years. God knows where our car is parked, for up to a month, but we've never had any problems.

Unless you're in a Ferrari, I don't think you should worry.

You haven't mentioned why you can't leave your car at home and catch the train, which (to me) would be the obvious solution?
