Hi.
Me and some friends are about to journey on a boat trip around the Norfolk Broads in July and was hoping for some help and advise on places to stop off at and things to do, pubs to go to etc. at these places.

We will be picking up the cruiser from Stalham and then have a week to travel through the broads to Great Yarmouth and back.

Lookings at the map, i would say we would head from Stalham to Potter Heigham for the first night (a Monday). Then on to Wroxham, Acle and down to Great Yarmouth for a few nights over the weekend (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

Any help with good places to go in the smaller areas and in Great Yarmouth would be appreciated.

Were all in our mid-late 20's and enjoy a night out etc. I've heard that theres plenty of good bars and resturants to moor up at for the days and evenings.

Many thanks!

Ferry Inn in Horning.

I'd also mimise GY time for the reasons #1 listed. It ain't the drug capital of the UK for nothing.

If you need some info on the Norfolk Broads then I'd recommend http://www.discoverthebroads.com Clippesby Hall http://www.clippesby.com is an excellent place for camping, with some lovely self catering cottages.
