I'm applying for the UK working holiday Visa from New Zealand.
Can I get any advice as to what kind of information they are looking for as a sort of minimum requirement as far as work in the UK and my current (dismal) financial status is concerned. Is it enough to be job seeking and if so what kind of evidence do I need to provide? Is there a bench mark minimum amount of money that I need in my account to be granted entry?
Cheers

I have just successfully applied for a British Working Holidaymaker visa, and have documented the process at my personal travel blog, Backpack Planet. Hope this helps (it's an Australian perspective, but you should be able to relate to a lot of the information I've listed). I recommend you check out http://www.workgateways.com/working-cost-of-living.html</a> which may answer some of your questions.

I got my WHV a couple of weeks ago. I said I'd be looking for short-term admin jobs and I had $3500 in the bank.
