What? hope thats not rude. Whats the border between south and north, or is it a culture thing? And Katie, whats a "jessie"? How do I learn this lingo?

Southern jessie is just a term that is used, it's kinda like southern wimp. Don't worry about the lingo, it's not that different.
There's no real border betwen North and South, and somewhere between he two there is the Midlands. A common term used is that anything after the Watford Gap is North but it doesn't really mean much. If you go to Leeds you will be in the North, don't worry though, wearing a flat cap and stuffing ferrets down your pants is entirely optional! (Is okay, his is another comon insult against us Northerners)

Found a place in Headingly, Headingly avenue, at 72 pounds per week incl utilities. Is this reasonable? Is it a good spot? Looking on google it looks close to everything, but am I being ripped off? he will take my internet booking right now. It's 12 months till I get there, so what happens if prices have changed in the interim? If I can secure this, is it the best place to be, or is there a better location at more reasonable rates? Thanks for excusing my ignorance

Headingly is a studeng area so is full of young people, lots of pubs to go out in and lots of busses going into Leeds centre which I think is about 15 mins tops. Sorry, I can't help you with the price, it depends what you are getting for that really but including utilities I don't think it is too bad for that area (but I could be totally off as I don't reallyknow Lees prices, I live about 15 miles away)
