Note that people in the UK use the expression "hall of residence". A dormitory is a room in which a fairly large number of people sleep, and that is not how students live in the UK.

I am sure that LSE has a Jewish student society, so contact them if you are worried about anti-semitism. But I am sure that you will not have any problems, apart from disagreements in political discussions about Israel.

It's a minor sport in the UK to rip the piss outta pretty much any other nationality going, and certainly internally between the English, Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish. The vast majority of the time it's meant in jest, and the expected response is to give as good as you get. As for Anti Semitic problems - to be honest, ironically, I suspect the few idiots who seriously subscribe to that sorta crap are far too busy tarring every Muslim in sight as an al-qaeda sympathiser suicide bomber to bother you. Much to the irritation of the vast amount of perfectly innocent Muslims of course!
