Hello,
I'm in Denver, Colorado (DEN) and looking for a flight around Jun 11th 2007 to London, England (Heathrow - LHR).
I've looked at a bunch of sites for cheap flights including the following, does anyone have any other recommendations?
http://www.bt-store.com
http://www.cheapflights.com
http://www.sidestep.com
http://www.1800flyeurope.com
http://www.studentuniverse.com
http://www.opodo.co.uk

Cheapest i found was DEN - LHR = USD$494.
Does anyone know of a cheaper website?
Thank You!
Robin :)

In my experience, I have gotten the best student tickets at studentuniverse.com.
Have you tried looking for flights to other London airports, like Gatwick? They might be cheaper, and if you are going to London it doesn't really matter which airport you fly into. Cheers.

$494 - does that include taxes & charges or is it one way. If it's return & includes everything then it's one hell of a price. If it isn't then tell us
And check the price through the airline website - they might be cheaper

hi alanR, $494 includes taxes and is one way, thanks very much for your response.
there is one stop and two carriers...(see below)
i went to the respective websites and added up the cost of the flights there:
124.40 (Frontier)
352.10 (Air India)
---------
$476.50 as opposed to GBP250.30 (494.444 USD)
---------
Do you know, if i did it individually, would i have to pay for the transfer from Midway to O'Hare International? If so it may be easier and cheaper to just go with the joined price? Actually there would also be changing bags etc too i guess. I think i'll just get the 'joined flight' and save myself the hassle!

hi nomadsteve, thank you also, i'm not a student and Gatwick was more expensive on the site that i tried.
---------

Travelled Air India once and NEVER again.
The noise and smell was awful and we expected to see sheep and goats in the aisles!
Pay a few more dollars and fly with a decent airline.

hi clanline, thanks for the heads up but i've looked for two days and i can't find anything in the same price range, if you have any suggestions for airlines or websites it would be great if you could let me know, thanks, robin :)
www.statravel.com will get close.
Alternatively:-
www.expedia.com
www.orbitz.com
www.mobissimo.com
www.kayak.com
www.travelocity.com

Don't rule out the airline websites themselves. $494 is a heck of a price. Too good a price if you ask me, have you checked all the nitty gritty of the deal?

Hi Fwoggie,
Thanks for that information. Yes the price is legit. I even found a cheaper one for 474 but how's this....
- after a day of searching and finally deciding on a flight from a UK website and in the process of booking it tells me i have to have a UK address!
- after second day of searching and finally deciding and trying to book a flight from a US website it tells me i need a US credit card (i am a Australian citizen in America)
so i dont know how i am going to get a flight now!
ai yai yai!
