I've got 4 days in the UK, should spend all 4 days in London (first time) or do 3 days in London seeing all the major sites and spend 1 day in a different place?

I'm flying into Gatwick, the distance from Gatwick to Brighton are about the same as Gatwick to London, should I do my first day in Brighton? Maybe use that time to get over my jet lag and then on the next day goto London?

I doubt you'll have any trouble filling up 4 days in London. You could easily do a day trip somewhere and stay in london for the night. I stayed 2 weeks and couldn't fit in any day trips!

yea, ur right. 4 days in london is never enough. however, im a big fan of brighton. its such a good town with some really cool little bars n cafes. plus, u can get some really good fish and chips on the beach front and breath in some gool ol'english sea air.
if u do go to brighton i can recommend st cristophers hostel for some cheap rooms on the sea front....probably the cheapest in brighton i reckon :D

Hiya,

I'd definately get out to Brighton, too. Not far, and you'll have a great time. Get yourself down to The North Lanes, and obviously the piers. Enjoy!
