Hi, a friend of mine (20y/o female), is going to London for the second time and wants to do a 1 or 2 day tour of the city so that she can see more of some of the highlights (ie Buckingham palace etc.)
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Get a guidebook - then she'll know what she wants to see.
also pick up a copy of Time Out magazine which seems to be available at all major train stations & WH Smiths in the country

What did she see the first time?
You could try the London Eye, a tour of Parliment or the Tower of London. If she likes shopping, try Oxford Street/Regent Street. If you are into small shops/cafes...try Portobello. The list is endless. Give us a few more clues...

If you want to do a cheap tour catch Bus 11, starting from Liverpool Street bus station. It goes past most of the major tourist attractions.. St Pauls, Trafalgar Sq, the Abbey, the Palace etc.. all for just a couple of pounds.. :-)
This bus route and tourist sights map might be handy too.
