We’ll be travelling to Iceland this August for 20 days. We wouldn’t like to book in advance all the accommodation for that period, as we prefer to have the flexibility to extend or shorten our stay in certain places as we tour the island.
However, I am concerned about the possibility of not finding any accommodation or finding accommodation which is not adequate or which is too expensive in certain areas. We are a couple with a 3-year-old boy and in principle we’ll be looking for rooms in hotels…
I have booked a week off in July (14th - 21st) and want to have a holiday in Sweden but where?! My husband and I have already visited Stockholm, Goteborg and Malmo on city breaks so we really want to see a bit more of rural sweden, the coast, some national parks etc, as well as some smaller towns. Obviously we don't want to spend the whole week driving, so do any of you have a suggestion for which area of Sweden to focus on and which places to visit? Is it worth us spending a few days in Gotland…
Hello i am from sri lanka 27 years.,and Iam kumara i like share my ideas with you and e.mail is thlshnnnykkr@yahoo.com

Hi all,
I'm planning a trip in Sweden, 11-20 june, I'll fly from venice to Skvasta, intending to go to Gotland and then to Stockholm and the archipelago. My question is: how many days do you think I should stay in Gotland? I would also like to go to the east south for 2 days before going to Stockholm but no idea where. What do you suggest? And how many days in the archipelago? one? two?
I travel alone...I know it's safe for women...are there areas in Stockholm should I pay more attention to?
Thanks…
Can anyone recommend a good apartment to rent in central stockholm for 5 nights?
I will be there between June 8 and 27, planning some trekking with a particular interest for the west fjord area and the south (Landmannalaugar/Thorsmork). Apart from the air ticket i have not booked anything yet, leaving it to discussions/ideas to come. Hoping also that accommodation will not be to difficult to organize.
Maybe I'll hear from someone who is likewise easygoing and has a good sense of humour ?
I will spend 16 days in Norway this August. I will arrive to Oslo and from there I plan to go up and back to Nordkapp in 8-12 days by hitch-hiking. So I will have some 3-5 days to walk in the nature.
Can you suggest me any easy trekking routes in Norway that does not demand rock climbing experience? I will be on my own and I will have the necessary sleeping bag, tent etc. with me.
Thank you!
I live and Oslo and I have a friend coming to visit me next week. What is a nice three day two nights trip to take from Oslo so that she can see some of Norways best spots?? I don't want to do the nutshell trip because I am doing that later in the summer.
Price is a bit of consideration, but not too much. WE might be intrested in some hiking and camping (but we aren't experts, so something that is simple where we can't get lost).

I will be in Sweden for less than one week in late July.
I have business commitments at Mariesborg (may have that wrong!) which I think is north of Stockholm.
What are good cheap places to stay in Stockholm, and places to eat and shop
What do people as the maximum 'bang for my buck' for 2 days sightseeing??
Thank you
Jane
am undertaking a bike tour this summer, arctic 2 africa and will begin in the north of sweden (treriksröset).
any ideas on how i can get my bike up that far north as i'm told that taking it on the train is a no go in sweden. do i need to send it up with a bus or what?
