Hi there! Wondering if anyone will be attending? If so, is anyone interested in splitting costs for lodging?

My friend and I are traveling Iceland in a 2 WD campervan June 12th to 28th. We would like to visit Landmannalugar, by leaving our 2 WD campervan at some point, catch a bus to Landmannalaguar, do day hikes, stay in a Landmannalaguar Hut for night and then pickup campervan next day. We don't necessarily want a guided tour.
1. When do the huts open? and how do we reserve a book a night there?
2. Which buses go directly and fastest from nearest point like Hella or other?? costs?

How long does that generally take? We are reasonably fit and experienced kayakers. Is it realistic to rent the kayak right away in the morning, paddle all day, overnight along the fjord, and drop off the kayaks in Gudvangen the next afternoon?

We would be kayaking straight through (no stopping to hike or anything). TY!

I am looking for a list of Indian/Vegetarian restaurants in the following cities. If not Indian, at least vegetarian? No egg as well! I know my choices are limited, but can you suggest a couple of dishes i can eat that has absolutely no egg/meat even in sauces!? I did a google search and got just one or two!

I´m arriving in Iceland the 18th of August and leaving the 22nd and I need some advice from you.
