Hi everyone

I'm not sure whether I should include a trip from Bergen to Pulpit Rock in my itenary. Does it snow around Pulpit Rock in late September, and if so, does that make the hike miserable/impossible to do ?

We are driving around the rim road with extra excursions to the different coasts for 3 weeks. We hope to camp most of the way. Is dispersed camping with a tent allowed throughout the country on public lands? How about private lands? And, if it isn't marked then what? I mean, how do we know public from private? Thanks again.

I need surgery on my wrist in September so I cant work in October .So I thought I go somewhere , anywhere and I saw a cheap ticket from Toronto to Hamburg Germany. I just had this crazy idea . I'll rent a car and drive up to Copenhagen ,then on to Oslo and over to Stockholm and then back to Germany.

Anyone ever done anything like this? How much does gas cost in these Countries? Any other suggestions? Anyone want to join me?

hi all and thanks again for all yet tips on Sweden Finland and Norway my trip is going great but i would like to add Spitzbergen to my destinations but i cant find any flights there from Tromso so could you advise what is the best way to get there ?

Sorry if I am a bit lost, but I am a bit confused how the Fjord Tour trips work. Am I just booking local transportation, ferries, buses, and trains, or are is it special tourist transportation??

How do I make plans for short hikes in the area, is there time for that if Im going for a 2 day trip or am I basically stuck going from train to fairy to bus ect..

If someone who has been on one of these tours could tell me what it's like, and what I need to do plan it, other then just booking the tour…

I'm travelling nine days to Norway from 13th of August. I'll be moving on my own via rented car, taking my bike with me as I intend to do a lot of waking and cycling. I'll start trough the south coast (Kragero, Risor) and then head north to Prekestolen then Ulvik, Bergen and Flam area.

I'm leaving for Iceland in a week. I've rented a car for ten days, and I'm wondering if I can get around the island in these 10 days. I'm starting my trip in Reykjavik, and I want to see the golden circle ofcourse. And I definitly want to go whale watching at Husavik. I'll be camping along the way.

And: what kind of gas stove should I bring? I know there are two kinds of butagas thingies. One with a screw, the other you have to push. What type are they using in Iceland?

I'm in the final stages of prepping for my Iceland trip - leaving a week from today!!! I'm looking for some suggestions for hikes/treks to do. I'm already planning to do the trek down Jokulsarglujufur National Park and the Landmannalaugar to Skogar trek.

I'll be skipping the Westfjords and the eastern bit of the island (I'll likely skip Skaftafell, too) - I'll get them next time! Spending most of my time in the north-central Akureyri-Husavik-Myvatn region.
