I will be going to Copenhagen in a couple of weeks and staying for a workshop for a few days in the Østerbro area. After that I have a few days to myself and would like to stay somewhere really beautiful - in nature if possible (I love swimming so that would be lovely too).
Where would you recommend, not too far away?

In the meantime, I am familiarizing myself with the material I should know such as the LGR11 Curriculum document. Is there anything information I should look up, i.e., legislation on safe schools?

i am looking to go to Iceland around March/April time purely for the photography side of things. I understand the weather is unprdictable any time of the year, i want the grey ugly clouds but not rain and poor visibility. Is 1 month better than the other?

I've found a cheap route through Stavanger airport - arriving there at 8.30am and departing at 2.30pm (on 2 seperate tickets). Would that give me enough time to pop into town and take a quick walk around? I don't really want to sit around the airport!

We are staying overnight at Aurland and next morning we are planning to take the train from Flam to Myrdal and then rent a bike down. Few quick questions
-- Is it truly very pretty and this trip is worth it?
-- Is that all possible to be back down in Flam by about 1 PM if we catch the 8:35 AM train upto Myrdal?
-- How does one send the bike back to Myrdal?
-- Any pointers/ suggestions/ look outs for this trip?

We will be visiting Iceland for New Year 2018 and want to see more than Reykjavik/Vik/Golden Circle/wonders of the West. The last time we went there, it was completely snowed over in February. Is it possible to self drive the full ring road in winter?
Obviously with a good off road car, equipment, etc.
Are there any public buses/tour operators who could take us to the east/North?

A friend and me are visiting Oslo from the 5th-12th August. I've booked our flights and accomodation via Airbnb. We plan to buy the 72 hour Oslo pass which seems to be the best value as money is pretty tight. Once we have finished with the pass what day trips from the city can people suggest? We don't mind long days or early starts. I was thinking about the paddle steamer boat Skarblagen? Think it's called, has anyone tried it?
