We're renting a car from the Int'l airport on arrival, and two of us will be driving.
In North America, there is no charge for an additional driver if both drivers are a couple (married or common law). This is fairly well-hidden by most companies, but it's definitely a thing.

I'm from the UK and have a friend that's moving from near Gothenburg to near Harstad Norway. We're planning to turn this into a Norway holiday roadtrip.
I will fly from the UK to Gothenburg, rent a car there, pick them up and drive from Sweden, into Norway, we will visit Oslo, Bergen and drive up the coast exploring whatever Norway has to offer for 2-3 weeks. I then plan to drive back into Sweden (probably Kiruna) to return the car and fly home.

I'm a solo traveller. Planning on going to Norway end of Sept/beg of Oct this year for about 10 days.
I was hoping to do some sort of activity ie a 1 or 2 day hike, kayaking or fjord safari during my trip. I'm a bit worried about weather. Most tours that offer non-winter activities don't offer them past September. I'm sure it's because after that the weather makes hiking riskier or too cold. Anyone know of any tour operators that offer 1 or 2 day tours past September?
