I am planning a trip to Nordic countries in winter (Jan/Feb19) for 3-4weeks. I would appreciate your help or advise on my intended itinerary.

I never been to Nordic countries. The main reason of this trip is to chase the Aruora, love snow and wildlife sceneries ....etc. Not much into the city life but will still do stay in the capitals for few days. I would prefer to stay in a rural or small town/village and enjoy and feel of the local life in winter. Below is my initial itinerary. The transportation from one place to the other are not under consideration yet but any suggestion is appreciated.

Day 1 - Arrive Copenhangen
Day 2 - Copenhangen <=> Odense (Day trip)
Day 3 - Copenhangen
Day 4 - Copenhangen => Oslo
Day 5 - Oslo
Day 6 - Oslo
Day 7 - Oslo (Norway in Nutshell) => Bergen
Day 8 - Bergen
Day 9 - Bergen => Stavanger
Day 10 - Stavanger (Hike tour to Preikestolen)
Day 11 - Stavanger =>Tromso
Day 12 - Tromso
Day 13 - Tromso
Day 14 - Tromso => Inari
Day 15 - Inari
Day 16 - Inari
Day 17 - Inari => Rovaniemi
Day 18 - Rovaniemi
Day 19 - Rovaniemi
Day 20 - Rovaniemi => Tampere => Helsinki
Day 21 - Helsinki
Day 22 - Helsinki
Day 23 - Helsinki => Stockholm
Day 24 - Stockholm
Day 25 - Stockholm
Day 26 - Leave Stockholm

Will only comment the Danish branch. Not much of “ rural or small town” over that BTW.
Do not understand the daytrips from København(Copenhagen) to Odense. I would suggest the more usual daytours ( shorter and musk more to Ree): Roskilde ( cathedral and viking ships) or Helsingør ( Kronborg, MS museum and pretty old town towncenter) or Hillerød (Frederiksborg castle).

If you really want to see Aurora and you have money and time for 4 week trip, spend more time in the North. Only on days 12-20 you have even changes to see Northern Lights. All the other places are too much in the South.

Tromsö-Inari trip is probably cheapest and fastest by flying Tromsö-Oslo-Helsinki-Ivalo since there is no direct public transport.

I wouldn't hike Preikestolen in the middle of winter. Check if it's even possible.
