Lofoten Islands Itinerary Help

My wife and I will be visiting the Lofoten Islands in early August for 3 full days. We are flying into and out of Leknes. We both love to hike and get off the beaten path when we travel. We plan on renting a car. Can anyone make any recommendations on where to hike, fish, and explore in the Lofoten islands? What about good accomodation? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We based our selves at Svoldaer while we were there. We done a couple of out and back hikes from the town while we were there. And we caught a bus over to another town were the 'Hurtigruden' cruise ship ties up at a wharf, and between were the ship ties up and the shore there was a coulpe and their kids fishing, that pulled up some cod, they were not giants but pan sized. And the local tourist people at Svoldaer can arrange a fishing trip i think.
