I hope this question isn't too strange --
One of the things I am most familiar with in Scandinavian literature is their children's literature, particularly Astrid Lindgren and Tove Janssen. I'll be in Stockholm on Wednesday, and am trying to figure out whether I can/should visit Junibacken and/or Astrid Lindgrens Varld in Vimmerby. I would really love to see one or both, but am having trouble coming up with detailed information in English on either. Would it be strange for someone in their early 20s to spend a day at either place alone? And is there enough to do to merit the cost in either case, or the trip to Vimmerby for the second? If anybody could share more details or give an opinion on either or both places, I'd really appreciate it!
(On the same note -- what about Moominworld in Finland? )
Thanks!

Haven't been to any of those but I've heard both are children-oriented, and that ALV is larger and funnier.
Junibacken is in Djurgården, near other sights like Skansen and the Vasa ship.
Vimmerby is a small town (pop. about 7000) in Småland. The theme park is close to the author's childhood home that is open to visitors. It is possible to get there from Stockholm by train in about 4 hours (almost 300 km either way). It'd be worth seeing the area if you have a few days, if interested in rural areas and such, but I would not particularly recommend it as a daytrip from Stockholm.
