I'm curious how long a visa from usa lasts in faroe. Can Americans work there? Is Faroe Islands a part of Dublin Regulation? Is asylum handled by Denmark there?

First of all ask your Local danish embassy.
I do not understand the "USA visum" a visum to the US does not as such allow Travelling to Schengen / Denmark. A Schengen visa will normally allow travel to Greenland/ Faroe if the Danish embassy has put a note on the page with the visa.
I am not sure that Faroe grants asylum to anyone and guess you will have to stribe before claining that you are a refugee.
