Entry to Norway after Resident Permit

Hi!

I have a visa-related question.

My employer is planning to apply for my resident permit on my behalf in Oslo itself. I am wondering that if approved, how do I get my visa stamped as I have not sent my physical passport with the application?

I am currently living in the United States.
