Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone knew about the amount of daylight hours southern norway receives in the winter (december)? Precisely, oslo, bergen and Alesund?

Thanks

Hi I_J_B

timeanddate.com has a daylight calculator (you move the slider along the year to get the specific data under the graph)
https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/norway/oslo
https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/norway/bergen
https://www.timeanddate.com/sun/norway/alesund
Depending on place and time you can get between 5 and 6:30h of daylight

Good time to see the northern lights especially if you go out of the city!

Happy travels!

But those 3 places are too far South to have regular northern light and the two West coast locations are very cloudy.

Except that there is almost never any Northern lights that far south. And if there is som light, the Lights will be much weaker than in the north
