2.5 days Iceland on a Motorcycle

I am looking for suggestions to make the most of two full days on a motorcycle in Iceland. Any and all suggestions would be welcome.

Okay I wasn't there in December but it's what I heard from an Eastern European guy who had worked there over winter and almost killed himself he was so depressed by the lack of daylight. So he might have overdone it a bit. :-)

Yes, I also heard from a American guy that lived in Holland, that he had to sleep in scuba gear, for safety. But he might have been stoned much of his time there.
