Hej!

I've been studying Swedish for a couple of years and I'm planning to spend 3 or 4 weeks next summer (July, August) in Sweden improving my skills.

I would like to study in a city, hopefully close to Stockholm if not in Stockholm itself.
So far I've found two schools in Uppsala that look good to me: Glossa (http://www.glossa-sweden.com) and UISS (http://www.uiss.org). Has anyone heard anything about these schools?

Does anyone know of other good schools in sweden that offer swedish summer…

My new favorite band is Hel, from Eskilstuna, Södermanland. I have all their CDs. I understand they stopped recording around 2005, but I was wondering if they ever still play live shows?

The reason why I ask is I am going to Sweden for two weeks this summer and I thought it would be cool if I could see a Hel concert while I am there.

I am going to Sweden in mid Feb for a week and have some specific and some general questions that some of you may be able to answer some or all of...

1. I arrive to Arlanda airport at midnight and depart at 6am. Not great times, and I understand the high speed trains don't run during these times. Do the buses run or will I be stuck with the expense of a taxi each way?

Hello everybody!
I am looking for the possibility of renting a motorhome for 4 adults, 20-25 days in August to make a tour in Norway-Finland-Sweden. Could you please indicate rental companies based in Sweden? From the internet I come out with several companies based in the US, Australia, etc. but I guess they act as intermediate and this probably adds to the cost. Is it so? Any advice and previous experience from other travelers would be highly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Hello, I am planning on taking a two-week trip to Sweden in July. Much of my time will be spent in Vadestena, in western Östergötland.

Can anyone recommend inexpensive places to stay in Vadstena?

Also, what is the best way to get to Vadstena from Stockholm? A train to Linkoping probably? Then what's next from Linkoping to Vadestena?

Are there any bicycle rentals available in Vadstena?

I'm travelling to stockholm for the first time at the end of the month for a long weekend. Most of the blogs etc that I have come accross only really seem to list summer activities so wondered if they were any recommenedations for this time of year?

I will be travelling alone (30 yr old male) and enjoy trying new things , I would like to possibly watch some live sport and take a day or two boat trip.

COuld you please give me some information about the highlights? is it posible to fish in rivers or lakes there? how many days we have to be there for a complete visiting? i was thinking 2 or 3 days in Visby but after that no idea about the hisghlights in the island

I'm going to Goteborg with my boyfriend in March for 2 days (Saturday & Sunday) and I'm trying to work out whether it would be cheaper and more efficient to buy a Goteborg pass for us both, or just buy everything separately as and when?

The 2 for 1 airport bus pass is a good one as it would save about £12 I think
The Universeum is around £13 but other museums we want to visit are free to under 25's so we'd only be saving on the Universeum
