I'm looking for the cheapest way from Stockholm/Uppsala area to Hamburg/Braunschweig area. I've looked at Ryanair and the cheapest for the end of June, 27th-28th ish, is 129 euro without baggage costs.
I've been trying to see if there was a bus service going over via ferry but haven't been able to find a good website. So if anyone knows a website or a suggestion of a cheap way over I'd really appreciate it.

Also, is Sweden strict like Ireland in the sense that you need a departure ticket before you enter the country?

Thanks :)

In Denmark, there's a bus service from Aarhus to Hamburg running once every day 8http://abildskou.dk/med-bussen-til-berlin-eller-til-hamburg-airport/) , it's approx. 300 dkr. It stops in Vejle, where you can connect from Copenhagen. It's cheaper than train, but it would take you some time and you'd have to find out if connections are possible with a bus from Stockholm - Copenhagen - Vejle...

SAS (regular airline - flying from major airports) will take you there for SEK 948 ALL INCLUDED on the 27th
Skip Ryanair - far too costly as so often

It depends on where you are from.

Swebus has a bus line from Stockholm to Hamburg. Like 15+ hours overnight.
