Hello,

I'm trying to squeeze in a few days to visit Tallinn during my trip to scandinavia. My itinerary is very tight, , but I'm going to attempt (I don't 100% trust Ryanair) a 9 euro flight to Tallinn, spend a few days, and then take the Tallink ferry back to Stockholm.

I have a few questions.

#1 Are 2 days in Tallinn enough to see the main sites? I don't generally love spending extended days in cities.

#2 i'm travelling alone...read that i might be able to share a cabin with strangers...is this true? Do I need to book my cabin well in advance? What is the chance of a sailing being sold out a few days before... like on Friday in Late May? Has anyone tried the the shared cabins? Should I purchase the dinner buffet? or Should I bring my own food?

Thanks in advance, fellow travelers!

Two full days in Tallin is nice if you stay in town.
Yes, you can share a four beds cabin on the Tallin/Stockholm ferry, if this option is available on the day you choose (check online)
Booking the buffet and breakfast is, frankly, up to your budget, as it is expensive, even if the offer is probably plentiful (don't know, but suppose, from other ferry trips in this area...)

I've done the shared cabins on a different ferry - Stockholm to Turku. It would have been fine if the guy who was in the room hadn't made a moaning sound in his sleep for the entire night! Most of the operators seem to make available an option to share cabins, if you want.

Two days is probably enough to see all of Tallin if you're rushing.
