Hi All

My husband and I are travelling to Goteburg in June. Whilst my husband has a week of training, I have a week of relaxing to do :) I was thinking perhaps I could to a cooking class? I have never been to Goteburg, so was wondering if anyone knows if anything exists there or any other suggestions of things for me to do while he is at work. P.S. I'm 5 months pregnant so can't do anything too strenuous.

Thanks in advance.

It might be tricky for you to do a cooking class if you don't speak Swedish. The teacher may not have the skills to conduct the class in English, and the other students would probably prefer that it was in Swedish.

There are two big services providing courses (including cooking) in Sweden.
They are ABF and Medborgarskolan.

Otherwise, why not take the week to just do sightseeing at a relaxed pace, look after or pamper yourself and do some shopping?

I am from Stockholm and not Gothenburg so I cannot give you any tips on what to do there. I think a boat trip to one of the islands outside the city is considered a really lovely one day outing though.
