Hi all. I have the chance to go to Oslo over new year skiing. But which airport would be the best to fly into out of Torp or Rygge? Would I have to travel far for a decent resort from either of these?
Otherwise, if I got myself to Oslo centre from either of these airports what is the skiing like in Oslo? Is it easy to get to the slopes from the city centre?

Above the arctic circle trekking is not allowed if you don't have a gun permit and a gun.
How much danger is there of wild animals if hitchhiking above the arctic circle? For example going from Tromso to Hammerfest to the North Cape and then to the Russian border... is it safe to stand by the roadside/ walk along the road?

I will be going to Tromsø over New Year (7 nights). Earlier this year I've visited Iceland and when I was planning my trip there I could find dozens of different landmarks or sights, such as waterfalls, volcanic craters or the planewreck.
However, I was a little bit disappointed when I started to look for such things near Tromsø, I couldn't find any specific landmarks except for fjord-/mountain-areas. Are there simply none or did I overlook them?
