Could you please tell me is there a local bus for Svolvaer residents?
The Avis car rental agency is 2 or 3 kilometers from our hotel, so I wonder if we could get there by bus.

In July, we will travel to Norway for 10 days. We are a very active and fit couple who wants to spend most of our time exploring the outdoors.

I have been searching for the whole day for a daily coastal cruises near for the western or southern costs of Norway, and could not find anything suitable. may be did not search well enough, but i am exhausted. Please can you tell me which company or tour i should take.Or may be exist some river cruises? a daily ones, or max.3 days cruise. Do you have any info about boat rental? Yeah I know this has been asked 5000 times before but anyone know a nice quirky hotel in Oslo that not the price of executive suite in any other hotel ? Can spend up to 100-120€.

We will spend our honeymoon in south norway and i would like to ask you for few things: we will stay in Oslo first for 3-4 days, then will travel to Bergen and will stay around Bergen for another 4-5 days, later on in Stavanger. I would like to know beforehand about good restaurants in Oslo and Bergen: when i say good, i mean a good atmosphere, a good food but not too expensive, something for young people: not too posh. Thanks in advance and I can not really wait to see Norway again!

Hi this June with midsummer I will be in south Norway for 3 weeks.

IMy budget is very small so i wonder if hitchhiking is ok there between Oslo and Bergen. By this I mean if you get easely picked up or it's not so common to hitch there?

Also I read that you can camp in wild there 150m from houses or private propritory. So 150 m somewhere in the forest or near lake or Fjord shouldn't be a problem I suppose. Is there any risk for dangerous wild animals during that period. Moose with youngs or…

We are planning to rent a car from Svolvaer, which we are going to use on August 12-13.
Is there any cheap car rental place there? How much is car rental for 48 hours?

It's our first time in Norway and we are travelling with a friend from the US, who booked all our domestic flights on the Web and is supposed to join us at Oslo main airport. Our first stop is Svolvaer (via Bodo). However, we will land in Oslo a couple of hours before the domestic flight.

Could you please suggest a place where we could meet her at Oslo airport (something which would be easy to find)?
