3 friends are traveling between Balestrand to Arendal and are not sure about the best way to do this. We are seeking help in figuring this one out and need to consider the most efficient way to do this (timewise, new to the country and general finageling(sp). Thanks in advance for your advise.

Assuming you don't have a car. Travelling times are approx.
1: Local bus to Sogndal (1h) - coach to Oslo (8-9h)- train/coach to Arendal (3-3,5h)
2: Coach/express ferry to Bergen (4h) - train (9-9,5h) to Arendal
3: Coach/express ferry to Bergen (4h)- by plane to Torp or Kristiansand (30-45min plus travel time to Bergen Airport) - Coach/train to Arendal (1-2h).
4: Local bus to Sogndal and further to Sogndal Airport - flights to Oslo Gardermoen - train to Arendal.
Coach: Nor-way.no
Train: nsb.no
Express ferry: norled.no
Flights: sas.no, wideroe.no, norwegian.no
