Hi, me and my mate are planning a holiday in the beginning of April. We have about 10 days. We always want to see northern light. And I googled a bit and see April is possible to see northern light in Tromso. We both like hiking and trekking and enjoy outdoor activities. So we want to maybe camp somewhere outside the city so have a better view to see northern light (if weather is good of course). Is that doable (we have extensive wild camping experience and some winter camping experience)?
What else can we do during daytime? Some good natural views to look or hiking routes maybe? We want to travel by public transportation since budget is our concern. Tromso is our destination because of northern light. We can travel to other places in Norway of course. But if Tromso can offer most what we want then we probably will stay more days at Tromso since 10 days are not a long holiday.
Thanks
Nian
